'World first' for Platinum Play

UK Bingo site Platinum Play Bingo claims to have achieved a world first after launching ‘Bingo Ball for Life’.

The innovative new bingo game allows players to own and customise an individual bingo ball and give themselves the chance to win £50,000 ($99,524).

Players can select their bingo ball or take part in Platinum Play Bingo’s ‘Bingology’ quiz to determine their Ball for Life. Once selection is complete, the player will win a major cash prize every time any player completes a full house on their bingo ball.

The jackpot for players owning a Ball for Life starts at £1,000 ($1,990) and increases by a further £1,000 every week the jackpot is not won, until it hits £50,000. Once it reaches £50,000, the jackpot is paid out to the player who came the closest to hitting their Ball for Life full house.

Owners of a Bingo Ball for Life can customise their lucky ball by giving it hands, hairstyles, eyes, shoes and accessories.
