Leading online bingo hall Bingo.com is predicting a bright future after announcing positive second quarter results.
The site reported increased customer signups in the second quarter of 2008 and those bingo players have been depositing in droves.
The second quarter revenue came to $1,415,858 – a five per cent increase over the figures for the first quarter of the year.
Bingo.com CEO Tarnie Williams told the Gaming Intelligence Group: “In the second quarter of 2008, Bingo.com made some important strides towards returning to profitability.
“Despite not yet acquiring licensing status enabling us to advertise in the UK, we acquired thousands of new real-money players, increased our revenues, decreased our net loss and further developed the entertainment available at Bingo.com.”
Williams added that a tier one gaming license for Bingo.com is “expected in the fourth quarter of this year.”
