NetPlay TV secures dedicated gaming channel
Bingos.co.uk owners NetPlay TV have secured the license for a 24-hour Freeview Channel.
The dedicated channel is the first to be owned by an interactive gaming company and broadcasting will commence on January 8th 2009 on Freeview channel 48.
NetPlay TV's Chief Executive Officer Martin Higginson described the new channel as "a major milestone" and predicted great success for the venture.
He said: "To secure a dedicated channel to broadcast our services is a real achievement for the whole team. We will now be able to drive people to our Freeview channel and thus build loyalty in this destination.
"We firmly believe customer playing habits are changing," he added. "As such, more and more users and now demanding a 'live' gaming experience."
