WhichBingo retains Portal of the Year Award
WhichBingo has been named the ‘Best Online Bingo Portal’ at the Bullet Business Annual Online Bingo Summit for the second year running.
The online bingo ceremony at London's Millennium Gloucester hotel saw WhichBingo founder Phil Fraser collect the award after industry professionals present at the summit voted for the site.
WhichBingo features the internet's most comprehensive directory of online bingo sites, as well as offers, news and reviews.
The past 12 months saw WhichBingo add video content to their offering, as well as launching its own blog and the internet's first bingo podcast.
Phil Fraser said: "To be voted the best portal for a second consecutive year is a great honour. We are hugely proud of WhichBingo, as we are of all our sites, and it is wonderful to receive appreciation from our colleagues friends in the online bingo industry.
"We were up against some very stiff competition and we know we will have to work even harder in the coming year if we are to win this award again in 2010."
He added: "The award is a credit and a stamp of recognition for all of the hard work, enthusiasm and commitment of our whole team."
The evening was a successful one for Cashcade as the online bingo giant picked up four awards, for Best Online Bingo Operator (Foxy Bingo), Best Newcomer (Cheeky Bingo), Best Marketing Campaign (Foxy's Back) and Best Innovation (Cheeky Bingo).
Other UK bingo winners included Income Access for Best Affiliate Programme and Virtue Fusion for Best Online Bingo Software.
