PartyGaming takeover online bingo operator Cashcade
PartyGaming has announced it has successfully completed the purchase of online bingo operator Cashcade.
Cashcade was founded in 1999 and is regarded as one of the biggest sources of online bingo in the UK. The network operates a number of bingo sites including Foxy Bingo, Think Bingo, Cheeky Bingo and Bingo Scotland. At the start of 2009 Cashcade's websites had approximately 2.2 million registered players of which 460,000 were active.
Patrick Southon, Managing Director of Cashcade said today: “This is an exciting day for Cashcade and we are delighted to join the PartyGaming organisation. We believe there is a substantial opportunity to leverage our existing business now that we are part of the world’s leading online gaming company.”
PartyGaming CEO Jim Ryan told GamingIntelligence.com that he felt that this move will help PartyGaming achieve its target of being in the top three positions for the four biggest online gambling sectors. These being poker, casino, sport betting and bingo.
