Amitabh Bachchan to star on bingo show
Indian megastar Amitabh Bachchan is set to star on a brand new Bingo TV show, hosted by his son Abhishek Bachchan.
The new show, 'National Bingo Night' is set to air on India's Colors channel and host Abhishek Bachchan's first guest will be his father Amitabh, star of hit Bollywood films such as 'Sarkar' and 'Paa'.
The show, which will run for 13 episodes, allows audiences to take part in live TV bingo games from the comfort of their living rooms.
While Amitabh Bachchan's appearance will boost the show's profile considerably, other Bollywood guests lined up to appear include Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Vindoo Dara Singh and Pravesh Rana.
Amitabh Bachchan's recent association with the 'Big Boss' series was hugely successful and a repeat of that success could see National Bingo Night become a regular fixture on Colors.
Rumours are also circulating that Abhishek Bachchan's wife Aishwarya Rai could be lined up as a contestant on the show.
