Bingon.com respond to player power
Online bingo site Bingon.com has announced a change to its bonus system after concerns were raised by players.
Bingon.com was the focus of correspondence sent to WhichBingo UK by a regular online bingo player who had not been awarded the second and third deposit bonuses advertised by the popular bingo site, which are 100% and 50%, respectively.
The player told WhichBingo UK: “I made a first deposit, which I got a bonus for. On my second deposit, which they advertise a bonus for, I didn’t get a bonus. On my third deposit, again no bonus. I contacted them and you have to spend £50 to get your second bonus and a further £30 to get your 3rd bonus. I think this is terrible.”
However, Bingon.com responded to the concerns by explaining that the wagering requirements for obtaining bonuses were in place instead of wagering requirements for withdrawing winnings.
“Firstly I’d like to explain that our bonuses are as competitive as the rest of the major bingo sites,” said the spokesman.
“The only important difference is that our bonus requirements are setup to give the free bonus after wagering requirements have been met, whereas most of our competitors give the bonus instantly and apply wagering requirements for when a player decides to make a withdrawal."
The spokesman explained that the bonus requirements were to be changed in favour of players at the site, saying: "We have decided to change the requirements of our bonuses and make them more attractive and familiar to most bingo players."
