Highly regarded throughout the world of bingo online, this month our prestigious award goes to bingogold®

bingogold® August 2004 'Site of the Month'

This month's winner of our award is a bingo site that recently broadened it's offering to include much more than just bingo. Pari Mutuel Gold, is our Site of the Month for August 2004.

You probably know Pari Mutuel Gold from their previous name of Bingo Gold. However a few months ago their site, and software, underwent a huge upgrade, and what you see now is excellent. Tired of the same old software? Try PMG....

There is a wide choice of games at PMG but they are all delivered via one download, which takes a very short time to arrive. Once you have downloaded, register and then, once your authentication code arrives via email, you can log in. Once you are logged in, the main navigation bar appears at the top of your screen. This shows your username, $ balance and points as well as buttons for the cashier, chat, rules and events. Plus it also shows the buttons for all the games on offer; Bingo, Pulltabs, Keno and Video Poker.

Before you commence, you'll need to deposit. Neteller, 900Pay, Pre-paid ATM, and Instadebit are all accepted. First time depositors get a very generous 100% bonus-on-deposit and subsequent bonuses are  tiered based on deposit value, from 25% up to 50%.

Click on the Bingo button on the navigation bar and you get a choice of SEVEN (!) types of bingo game. This main bingo menu page also shows all the current progressive jackpots and bonus ball progressives.The first three games are called 'Classic BingoGold', and prices in each game vary ($1, 25c and 5c per row with five cards per row.) The feature we love about 'Classic BingoGold' is that each game has three  different games/prizes within each game. First is 'The Easy Way’ which is bingo in a straight line or four corners. The second game is a random pattern that changes for every game, known as 'The Caller’s Choice'. The final game is then a regular coverall, including an  additional '48 ball or less' progressive jackpot . Four chances to win in a single game, not bad! But that's not all,  there's also '12-in-12'; players must have all of the first 12 numbers called to win this prize, and in addition there's also a bonus ball progressive jackpot every game.

There's also a free Classic Bingo game to give you the chance to get used to the software and game play. In the free game all the jackpots and prizes are identical to the ‘Classic Bingo’ style except with bonus points for winners. These can be converted to cash playable in our other games.

 The next three types of games on offer are as follows;

'3-6-9 Coverall Bingo' - as the game starts all the numbers ending in 3-6-9 on your cards are pre-daubed (nice start!). It's a coverall game at 10c per card.

'Silver Dollar Bingo' - one dollar per row coverall bingo.

'Quick Silver Bingo' - 35 cents per card and a five card maximum. This is a two-line only game - to win you must have two straight lines; or a straight line and four in one corner (postage stamp). Plus there are two progressive jackpots; a ‘Bonus Ball’ and a 'Jackpot 9'; achieve a double Bingo in 9 calls or less and the banks yours!

Once you've made your choice of which game you wish to play you'll arrive at the game screen. Whichever bingo game you decide upon, the game screens all follow the same style. The screen is clear and uncluttered. There's a large area to show prize pots, along with your winnings on the game. There's clear information on game number, number of players, your cards and how many of your best cards you have. In the middle of the screen is the numbers-called board, the shape playing and the ball called. At the base of the screen are five of your cards. This always shows your best five cards plus how many to go. However we think that the coolest bit is the daub shapes; chose from a massive 59 shapes ranging from fried eggs to pink splodges!

As already mentioned this site offers more than just Bingo. There are five Keno games to choose from (Regular Keno, Top/Bottom, The Edge, Left/Right or Combo Keno) and each play at 10c, 25c, 50c and $1. You can also play up to four tickets with the option of any of the games on each ticket.

In addition there are also four styles of Pull Tabs (10c, 25c, $1, $2) and six Video Poker  games (1c, 5c, 25c, $1). The VP games play from 1 to 50 at at time.

So, if you want to play Bingo with a different type of software, want three games in one and the choice of seven variants, we strongly suggest you try out Pari Mutuel Gold, our Site of the Month for August. You'll really enjoy it! Either click here or click on any of the graphics to play.
